Grilled Celeriac Steaks

Celeriac slices are grilled for a tasty and easy keto vegan dish. Serve with a green sauce or enjoy by themselves.

Ingredients

  • 1 celeriac

Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • With a sharp knife, chop the top and bottom from the celeriac knob and peel it.   Cut into 1cm thick slices (should yield about 4)
  • Parboil the celeriac slices for 10 minutes until tender.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the oil, garlic, mustard and seasoning.
  • Brush the celeriac slices with the seasoned oil and grill for 3-5 minutes on a medium heat for each side until they are golden and cooked through.
  • Serve with salsa verde or a herb sauce.

Makes 4 celeriac steaks
