Ingredients

  • 2 medium turnips

Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Peel the turnips and cut into ¼ inch thick fries.
  • Preheat the air fryer according to the manufacturers instructions.
  • In a medium bowl mix the oil, salt and spices.
  • Add the turnip fries and toss until they are all coated.
  • Add a single layer of the turnip fries to the air fryer basket and space them apart so the air can flow around them.
  • Cook at 200C/400F degrees for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Shake the basket half way through to ensure even cooking.
