- 1 pound asparagus about 15 large spears
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sumac
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Snap off the tough ends of the asparagus.
In a bowl, toss the asparagus with the olive oil, sumac, salt and pepper.
Heat a griddle pan on a high heat. Place the asparagus on the pan and cook for 5 minutes, turning over for an even grill.
Serve immediately.
