Ingredients
1largedaikon radish
2tablespoonsolive oil
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonblack pepper
1tablespoonchili lime seasoningspice seasoning of your choice
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer according to the manufacturers instructions.
Peel the daikon radish to remove the skin. Then, cut it into evenly-sized sticks, similar to the size and shape of traditional French fries. Ensuring uniform sizes will help the fries cook evenly.
In a large mixing bowl, add the olive oil, salt, pepper and seasoning.
Toss the daikon sticks in the seasoned oil and cover all thoroughly.
Arrange the seasoned daikon fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they aren't overcrowded to allow for proper air circulation. You may need to cook them in batches if your air fryer is small.
Air fry the daikon fries for about 15-20 minutes at 200C/400F degrees, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
Once the daikon fries are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
Cooking times may vary based on the thickness of your fries and the specific air fryer model you're using. Keep an eye on them to avoid overcooking, as they can become too crispy.
