- 1 large zucchini
- ¼ cup almond milk
Trim the ends off the zucchini. Slice the zucchinis into thin fry shapes. (about ¼ inch thick).
In a shallow bowl, mix together the almond flour, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, salt and smoked paprika.
In another shallow dish, add the almond milk.
Dip the zucchini sticks into the almond milk, then the almond flour mixture, ensuring that they are completely covered.
Air Fryer Zucchini Fries
Preheat the air fryer according to the manufacturers instructions.
Lightly spray the zucchini with cooking oil and place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry the zucchini fries for 10-15 minutes at 200C/400F degrees, flipping halfway through, or until they are crispy and golden brown.
Baked Zucchini Fries
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Place the zucchini sticks on the parchment paper.
Bake for 15 minutes, then turn over and bake for a further 10 minutes.
This recipe uses a large zucchini and makes about 20 fries.
