Air Fryer Asparagus
Crispy asparagus tossed in garlic, lemon and nutritional yeast makes a great low carb side dish or an addition to a salad.
Servings: 2 servings
- ½ lb asparagus spears
- 1 tablespoons avocado oil or olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- ½ teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoons lemon juice
Pre-heat air fryer at 380°F for 5 minutes.
Trim the asparagus spears.
In a medium bowl, mix the oil, garlic powder, salt, nutritional yeast, lemon juice and zest.
Add the asparagus spears to the bowl, and toss in the seasoned oil.
Place the asparagus spears in the air fryer basket and cook at 190C/380F degrees for 7-9 minutes until crisp and tender.
Makes 2 servings
