How to make a keto green smoothie more tasty.
Spinach in a smoothie is not for everyone and the hemp protein powder can also have a distinctive taste. So the challenge in making these two healthy green sources more taste is the addition of creamy almond butter and cinnamon.
What is hemp protein powder?
Hemp protein powder is made from ground hemp and has about 12g protein per ¼ cup (30g) serving and 2g net carbs. It has all the amino acids you need too!
I wanted to use a vegan source of protein and hemp protein powder blends well in smoothies. It does add to the green colour of the smoothie, with a mild taste.
Recipe Tips
The hemp protein powder can be substituted with the protein powder of your choice.
Add chia seeds or hemp seeds for extra fiber and protein.
