What to serve with this homemade French onion dip
We could eat this directly out of the bowl with a serving spoon but that's not a pretty sight! This onion dip goes great with vegetable crudites. Try low carb vegetables such as celery and cucumber sticks, raw cauliflower and broccoli florets and raw radishes. Crunchy crackers compliment the creaminess of the dip too. Try our chia hemp flexseed crackers or sour cream chive crackers for dipping.
Recipe Tips
If the onions start to dry out when cooking, add additional butter but just enough for the onions to cook in. You don't want the mixture too buttery.
Serve with freshly chopped chives on top.
The mayonnaise or sour cream could be swapped with plain Greek yogurt if you are out of either ingredients.
