A creamy turmeric tahini dressing is a healthy salad dressing or could be made into a dip. Slather over your salads and vegetables
Tahini is great for dressings and dips, giving your salads and vegetables a boost in flavour. We enjoy this as a salad dressing and also drizzle it over roasted vegetables.
What is tahini?
Tahini is made from sesame seeds and is a paste. As you would make a nut butter from processing nuts, sesame seeds are processed to a smooth paste. I fell in love with it when living in the Middle East but it also features in Asian and African dishes.
The most common use for tahini is hummus where it is an essential ingredient. Tahini is rich in many nutrients, including protein, fiber, copper, selenium, and phosphorus.
Serving suggestions
As well with a salad, serve this dressing as a dip or drizzle it over my cauliflower falafels or lupini bean fritters. Drizzle over roasted cauliflower florets to make a great side dish.
